About Us
George Hope
Design
I have been designing jewellery for 10 years, and working in the jewellery industry for 20. While working in the Graphic Design field I returned to school and began working part time selling jewellery. Over time I developed a deep appreciation not only for the process of designing and making jewellery, but the aesthetic and sentimental value of it. I later obtained a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, with a specialization in jewellery fabrication, from NSCAD. This led me to design my own line of jewellery, inspired by my Inuit heritage, which can be found at ghopedesign.ca.
Bruce and I aspire to make the process less intimidating to someone unfamiliar with the details and steps involved in making custom jewellery. We are here to help.
Bruce Trick
Goldsmith & Designer
"I started out as a pen maker in Manitoba, Canada. I loved beautifully made fountain pens so I started to make my own. I soon realized that to create these new works of art I would have to learn a whole new set of skills. After graduating with a goldsmith’s degree in Ontario and living in Japan for a short time, I came back to Canada with my new family. I worked as the CAD modeler and jewellery designer for FireWorks Gallery for almost 10 years. I love making custom pieces, not only for the creativity of it, but for the joy and excitement it brings each customer. Teaming up with George to continue our work just seemed like a natural continuation of our careers."
